This Saturday, the Seattle Thunderbirds take on their rival Portland Winter Hawks for the final time in the 2007/08 season! And just to make sure that the evening was exciting enough, we added on a couple extras...
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
Every fan through the doors can enter to win one of the MANY exciting prizes including, but not limited to, team autographed hockey sticks, pucks, and pennants, Playoff Tickets, Gift Certificates to local restuarants, a years supply of bagels, dinner for 6 at Buca di Beppo, highlight dvd's, and one GRAND PRIZE WINNER will win the ultimate T-Bird Fan Prize - a GLEN GOODALL SEATTLE BREAKERS JERSEY. So make sure you sign up, drop your ballot in the boxes located on the sales tables outside sections 101 and 115, and watch the Big Screen all night to see if your seat is called!
BREAKERS NIGHT
On Saturday, March 15th, the Seattle Thunderbirds will wear throwback Seattle Breakers jerseys and for the final time at KeyArena, the auction will commence! The jerseys are authentic game weight jerseys. There will be a minimum of 22 jerseys (20 of which will be game issued from March 15 vs. Portland). The silent portion of the auction will begin immediately upon the opening of doors at the game (approx. 6:05pm). Live bidding will commence during the 2nd intermission (following Chuck-a-Puck) across from the East Souvenir Stand at the top of Section 101. Each jersey begins at $350. Bids will go up in increments of $50. There will be an 8.8% Washington State Sales tax added to the final bid. No jerseys are autographed, and come as is. Proceeds benefit the Seattle Thunderbirds Education Fund.
