
OHL Priority Selection Set for Saturday

The Owen Sound Attack will add another wave of talent to the organization this Saturday when the 2018 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore takes place.
Beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, April 7, the Attack will pick a total of 13 times, beginning with the 15th overall selection in the 1st round after finishing with the 6th best record in the OHL this past season. Last year, the Attack used the 20th overall pick to select Mitchell Russell of the Barrie Colts Minor Midget Program in the 1st round.
Owen Sound will also pick once in the 2nd round (24th overall), once in the 4th round, twice in each of the 6th and 7th rounds, before making single selections in the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 15th rounds of the draft.
An annual tradition, the Attack will host a Draft Day gathering in the Seniors Centre (former Tannery) which is located on the East Side of the Bayshore parking lot. Doors will open at 8:45am with morning refreshments and a light lunch being served at noon by East Side Mario's. General Manager Dale DeGray will also speak to fans throughout the day, answering questions and providing background information on drafted players.
