San Antonio Missions News Release
MIDLAND--The Rockhounds jumped on Dennis O'Grady for eight runs in the first two innings and cruised to victory Saturday night in front of 4,849 at Security Bank Ballpark.
O'Grady was unable to get out of the second inning as the righty established career highs for hits and runs allowed in an outing.
The lone San Antonio run came courtesy of Duanel Jones second inning homer. Jones leads the Padres minor league system with 62 RBI this season.
The Missions were outhit, 16-8, and have been outscored 16-1 in the two games they've lost in the series. They won Friday's game, 7-1.
The loss was the club's most lopsided on the road this year and the fifth time they've lost by eight runs or more.
San Antonio has dropped 19 of the last 26 games at Midland dating to last season.
NOTES: The Missions are on pace for 82 losses, which would be the club's most since dropping 87 games in 1989
