BATTLE CREEK, MI - A combination of four Wisconsin Woodchuck pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter as they took Friday night's game 4-2.

For the second consecutive night, the Woodchucks scored first. This time they plated two runners with the help of two Bomber errors in the top of the 3rd inning. Also for the second consecutive night, the Bombers matched that effort by replying with two runs in the bottom half of the 3rd inning on an RBI single by Dillon Moyer (UC Irvine). Unfortunately for Battle Creek, that was the only base hit the Bombers got.

Wisconsin retook the lead in the top of the 7th inning with a two-run homer by Skylar Ewing (Rice). The Woodchuck bullpen did the rest, holding the Bombers scoreless after the 3rd inning.

The rubber match is tomorrow night at C.O. Brown Stadium. Kyle Teague will make his 5th start of the season.

The Battle Creek Bombers are members of the prestigious Northwoods League that has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in North America.
