Uncasville, CT - Nirra Fields and Emlak Konut fell to Bursa, 82-73, on Monday, March 6 in Turkish League play. Fields filled the stat sheet in the effort with 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists. On Thursday, March 9, Fields and Emlak Konut picked up a 78-71 win over Turkish League opponent, Bellona Kayseri. Fields tallied nine points, six rebounds, three assists and one block in the bounce back win. On Sunday, March 12, Fields and Emlak Konut defeated Nesibe Aydin, 81-75 in Turkish League play. Fields notched nine points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal in the win.

Victoria Macaulay and Botas defeated Bellona Kayseri, 98-47, in a Turkish League match up on Monday, March 6. Macaulay led her team with 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the victory. On Thursday, March 9, Macaulay and Botas dropped a Turkish League contest to Nesibe Aydin, 94-69. Macaulay finished with 23 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in the effort. On Saturday, March 11, Macaulay and Botas defeated Galatasaray in Turkish League play, 86-77. Macaulay led her team with 18 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block.

Tiffany Hayes and CBK Mersin picked up a 75-58 win over Galatasaray in Turkish League play on Monday, March 6. Hayes finished with 15 points, two rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block in the win. On Thursday, March 9, Hayes and CBK Mersin defeated Turkish League opponent, Cankaya, 88-63. Hayes led her team with 27 points, three rebounds, three assists and one block.

Natisha Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod defeated Israeli League opponent, Maccabi Urban, 73-63, on Monday, March 6. Hiedeman tallied two points, nine rebounds, four assists and one steal for her squad. Maccabi Ashdod sits atop of the Israeli League standings with a record of 16-2. On Thursday, March 9, Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod dropped an Israeli League matchup to Maccabi Urban, 87-82. Hiedeman notched four points, three rebounds and four assists in the effort.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa and the Melbourne Boomers fell in Game 1 of the WNBL Semifinals to Southside, 84-76. Nelson-Ododa finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in the effort. Later in the week, Nelson-Ododa and the Melbourne Boomers defeated Southside in Game 2 of the WNBL Semifinals, 96-77. Nelson-Ododa tallied four points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block, as the Melbourne Boomers tied the series 1-1.

Lauren Cox and Valencia defeated Spanish League opponent, Leganes, 91-59, on Thursday, March 9. Cox notched five points and one rebound, as Valencia moved into first play 22-4 in Spanish League play.

Mikiah Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions defeated the Sheffield Hatters in the WBBL Trophy Semifinals, 112-77, on Sunday, March 12. Herbert Harrigan finished with 26 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals in the win.

Connecticut Sun players are back in overseas action this week beginning with Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod taking on Elitzur Ramla at 11:00 AM ET on March 13. Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones and USK Prague face off against Perfumerias Avenida in Game 1 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 2:00 PM ET; Hayes and CBK Mersin take on Bourges in Game 1 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 12:30 PM ET; and Cox and Valencia play Schio in Game 1 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 3:00 PM ET on March 14. Nelson-Ododa and the Melbourne Boomers take on Southside in Game 3 of the WNBL Semifinals at 4:30 AM ET on March 15. Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod play Hapoel Rishon LeZion at 1:00 PM ET on March 16. On March 17, Thomas, Jones and USK Prague take on Perfumerias Avenida in Game 2 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 3:30 PM ET; Hayes and CBK Mersin play Bourges in Game 2 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 3:00 PM ET; and Cox and Valencia match up against Schio in Game 2 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals at 2:00 PM ET. To close out the week, Cox and Valencia take on Bembibre at 8:00 AM ET; and Mikiah Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions play the Essex Rebels at 8:30 AM ET on March 19.
