
OF Travis Moniot promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- OF Travis Moniot promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
- LHP Cristian Castillo placed on the Dash's injured list
A 17th-round selection out of the University of Arizona, Moniot batted .180 in 16 games for Low-A Kannapolis before his promotion.
Meanwhile, Castillo posted a 4-5 record with a 3.49 ERA over 11 starts before hitting the injured list. Castillo was traded to the White Sox for cash from the Royals on March 20.
The Dash's current active roster stands at 24 players, one shy of the Carolina League maximum, with five on the injured list.
