Birds and Dash Postponed for Second-Straight Night

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Due to unplayable grounds and heavy rain, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans doubleheader with the Winston-Salem Dash on Saturday, June 8, has been postponed. One of the games will be cancelled and will not be made up, while the Pelicans and Dash will play a twin bill on Sunday, June 9, with game one starting at 12 p.m. from BB&T Ballpark.

Luis Lugo (1-3, 3.25) has been named the probable starter for the Pelicans in game one of the double header, while Paul Richan (6-2, 4.13) is scheduled to take the hill in game two. The Dash are scheduled to send Jorgan Cavanerio (1-0, 3.74) to the bump in game one and Jake Elliott (3-1, 3.72) will go in game two.
