The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that OF Josh Richmond has been promoted to Class AAA Charlotte. Roster at 24.
Richmond, 25, will be making his first appearance at the Triple-A level after hitting .247 (88-for-356) with nine home runs, 47 runs scored and 51 RBI in 100 games with the Barons this season.
