The Chicago Cubs have announced the following roster moves affecting the Myrtle Beach Pelicans:

-OF D.J. Wilson has been activated from the 7-day disabled list.

Wilson missed 44 games on the disabled list, but he has reached base in all 12 contests he has played in this season. The Canton, Ohio native is slashing .241/.404/.317 with one double, one triple and three stolen bases. A fourth-round pick by the Cubs out of Canton South High School in 2015, Wilson passed up on a commitment with Vanderbilt University to sign with Chicago. He had notched a hit in each of his last five games prior to injury, batting 7-for-19 (.368) with a double, triple and four walks.

The Pelicans' roster sits at 25 active players, with four players on the disabled list.
