
O'Donnell Selected to All-ECHL Second Team

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades are pleased to announce that forward Brendan O'Donnell has been named to the 2015-17 All-ECHL Second Team on Thursday afternoon.
O'Donnell, 24, has elevated his game to new heights during the 2016-17 season posting a career high 77 points (39g, 38a) with a +29 rating in 59 games played this season. O'Donnell's 39 goals is currently the second most in the ECHL this season.
Earlier this week, O'Donnell was named the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for the week of March 27 - April 2 after posting nine points (3g, 6a) in three games during the week.
The 6-0, 193-pound forward posted an impressive 37-point (17g, 20a) rookie campaign in 2015-16. O'Donnell ended the season on a high note, tying an Everblades team record by a scoring a goal in nine consecutive games. The original record was set by Keith Anderson during the 2003-04 season.
Prior to joining the Everblades, O'Donnell totaled a balanced 55 points (27g, 28a) during his four-year collegiate career at the University of North Dakota from 2011-2015. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the sixth-round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
