Brampton Beast News Release
BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - Brampton Beast forward David Vallorani has earned some high praise for his exceptional play throughout the 2016-17 ECHL season as he was named to the All-ECHL Second Team on Thursday afternoon.
The 28-year-old Hamilton, Ontario native has been on fire since Opening Day of the 2016-17 season and has set or broken several team records throughout his inaugural season with the Beast. Vallorani currently leads the team with 82 points (32G, 50A), which currently stands as the most points ever recorded by a member of the Beast in a single season. His 50 assists to date is tied with Brandon Marino for the most ever recorded in one season.
His eye-popping season has already placed Vallorani among all-time franchise leaders in several statistical categories. Even with two games remaining in the regular season, he already ranks third in all-time franchise points (82), fourth in all-time assists (50) and sixth in goals (32).
He was the lone Beast representative to appear in the 2017 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic held in Glens Falls, New York and played a large role in helping the ECHL All Stars to a 8-7 victory over the Adirondack Thunder, scoring a pair of goals.
Vallorani becomes the first ever member of the Beast to be named to an All-ECHL Second Team and was instrumental in helping the Beast to their first ever berth in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The All-ECHL Teams are determined by a vote from ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, who were asked to nominate one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards.
