Charlottetown Islanders News Release
Charlottetown Islanders forward Quinn O'Brien has been suspended for one game, it was announced today by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
O'Brien was suspended for a "blind side hit with contact to the head, while the opponent was not in possession of the puck." The incident occurred during Sunday's game in Rimouski. There was no penalty on the play.
The suspension will cause him to miss Friday's home game against the Saint John Sea Dogs. He will return for Saturday's game against the Victoriaville Tigres.
Tickets for this weekend's games can be purchased in person at the Eastlink Centre Box Office, by phone at (902) 629-6625, or online at www.eastlinkcentrepei.ca.
