Oakley CHL Player of the Week Announced

March 21, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release


TEMPE, AZ (March 21, 2011) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Colorado forward Kevin Ulanski has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 20, 2011. The 2010 CHL Most Valuable Player also won the weekly award on December 27.

Ulanski had a huge week for the Eagles helping his team to four straight wins. The Madison, Wisconsin native finished the week with six goals (two of which were game winners), five assists and carried a +9 plus/minus rating. Ulanski began the week with a pair of helpers in Colorado's 7-3 win over Rapid City in what was a battle for first place in the Turner Conference. He followed that up with a five point night (2-3=5) in a 5-0 shutout win over Laredo on Wednesday. He then scored the game winning goal in a 2-0 win at Arizona on Friday and recorded a third period hat trick in the Eagles 8-4 win over the Sundogs on Saturday.

CHL Scoring Leaders

On the season, the CHL scoring champion from last season has matched his goal total with 34 and sits third in the league with 93 points (34-59"). His +39 plus/minus rating is second only to teammate Riley Nelson who is a +41.
