Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week Announced

TEMPE, AZ (December 7, 2010) -The Central Hockey League announced today that for the second time time in three weeks that Arizona's Levente Szuper has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week.

CHL Goaltending Leaders

The Budapest, Hungary native also won the award on November 23 after a week that saw him go 3-0-0. His most recent award recognizes his 1-0-1 record this past week earning points in both games he played. On Thursday, Szuper made 29 saves allowing just one goal in the Sundogs 2-1 shootout loss to Laredo and then on Saturday he made 38 saves in a 7-1 win at Rio Grande Valley. He finishes the week with 67 saves on 69 shots (.971 save percentage) and a 0.96 goals against average.

On the season, Szuper leads the CHL with a 2.07 goals against average and is tops with a .940 save percentage. His 4-2-2 record has helped lift the Sundogs close to the .500 mark at 8-9-3.
