
NYCFC to Host Fan Appreciation Day at Final Game of the Regular Season on October 28th

On Sunday, October 28th, New York City FC will host Fan Appreciation Day at the Club's final match of the regular season against the Philadelphia Union at Yankee Stadium. Fans will be able to participate in a number of special events in and around Yankee Stadium on gameday. The match begins at 4:30 pm and gates will open at 3:00 pm.
Prior to kickoff, a Fan Fest will take place outside of the stadium from 1:00 - 3:30pm on River Avenue featuring live music, games, and more. NYCFC partner Degree will host a 3v3 round-robin soccer tournament so fans can Play More, Move More, Live More. Registration starts at 1:00 pm. In addition, Ford will be hosting a VR experience and there will other activations from New York Presbyterian, JAG, and AT&T on-site.
Inside the stadium, fans will be treated to select discount concessions and a national anthem performance by Yankees legend, Bernie Williams. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to randomly win items and money-can't-buy experiences as they arrive at the stadium, including:
Seat upgrades (including to pitchside and into the Delta Sky 360 Suite)
Autographed memorabilia
Playoff tickets
Game experiences such as City Sendoff, honorary captain, setting off the smokestacks, and press conference attendance
20% off all merchandise
At the conclusion of the match, the annual "Shirts Off Our Backs" tradition will take place where fans will have the opportunity to exchange shirts with a first team NYCFC player on the field.
The week leading into the match, NYCFC partner Tinder, the world's most popular lifestyle app for meeting new people, will be connecting 50 NYC singles at the match. With the help of NYCFC players, Tinder will be gifting complimentary single tickets to celebrate the single life. The first 50 Tinder users to arrive at a select location on Thursday, October 25th will be greeted by NYCFC first team players and will receive their single ticket to the match.
