Orlando City SC News Release

The final match day of 2018 is upon us. City will take the trip to New Jersey to meet the Red Bulls on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on TV27 and YouTube TV. The Lions are out of the playoff race but this game holds plenty of meaning for the Red Bulls with the MLS Supporters' Shield still undecided. Here is what you need to know about the Red Bulls:

Who's Hot?

Of course, we have to start this off by mentioning Bradley Wright-Phillips. The Red Bulls' frontman has 20 goals in 31 games played. That number is good for third in the MLS golden boot race. Meanwhile, Kaku has been the Red Bulls' leading assist man with 14 heading into Sunday's regular-season finale.

Recent Form

The Red Bulls are... red hot. The team is sitting in second just one point off the pace set by Atlanta United, but their form can be considered 'red hot' due to four straight wins and being unbeaten in their last five. With a win and an Atlanta draw or loss, Red Bulls would lift the Supporters' Shield.

Head-to-Head

City's last meeting against the Red Bulls came early this season at the beginning of the six-game winning streak. City took all three points late courtesy of a shot from Scott Sutter that deflected off of Josué Colmán. With a win, City would be the only team to beat Red Bulls twice this season.
