
NWSL Announces Broadcast Agreement with ESPN

TACOMA, WASH. - The National Women's Soccer League has reached a national television deal with ESPN, the league announced today. ESPN will televise 14 league matches, including three Reign FC matches on ESPN2 and ESPNEWS.
In order to accommodate the broadcast schedule, Reign FC's September 29 home match against Portland Thorns FC has had its kickoff time adjusted to 11:00 a.m. PT.
"We are pleased to once again televise the National Women's Soccer League and showcase many of the world's top female players when they return to their professional club teams," said Burke Magnus, ESPN's Executive Vice President of programming and scheduling. "The success and excitement of the World Cup in France has been on full display and the NWSL represents the best women's club soccer in the world."
Reign FC will have three televised matches under the current schedule, which will also see both semifinal matches and the NWSL Championship match broadcast on ESPN2:
Friday, August 7 - Houston Dash vs. Reign FC - 4:00 p.m. PT - ESPNEWS
Sunday, August 25 - Sky Blue FC vs. Reign FC - 10:00 a.m. PT - ESPNEWS
Sunday, September 29 - Reign FC vs. Portland Thorns FC - 11:00 a.m. PT - ESPN2
