Modesto Nuts News Release
Visalia, CA. - Riley Smith quieted the hot Modesto Nuts offense in a 6-1 defeat to the Visalia Rawhide on Saturday night at Recreation Park.
Riley Smith (W, 7-5) retired the first eight he faced before the Nuts (50-69; 20-29) got their first baserunner thanks to an error. Their first hit was recorded by Jordan Cowan on a leadoff single in the fourth.
