MODESTO, CA. - A late RBI double sent the Modesto Nuts to a 3-2 loss against the San Jose Giants on Monday night at John Thurman Field.
With the game tied in the eighth, J.T. Salter (L, 1-1) walked the leadoff man. After striking out Joey Bart, Salter surrendered the go-ahead double to Courtney Hawkins who smashed a line drive off the centerfield wall.
