
Nuts Crack Four Homers in 13-12 Loss

Visalia, CA. - Ryan McMahon cracked two homers but the Modesto Nuts fell in walk-off fashion to the Visalia Rawhide 13-12 in ten innings on Monday night at Recreation Park.
In the tenth, Kevin Cron bounced a walk-off RBI single off Trent Daniel (L, 3-5) over the drawn-in infield to plate Fidel Pena to give the Rawhide (73-47; 31-19) the walk-off win.
Ryan McMahon had tied the game for the Nuts (62-58; 29-21) with a solo home run in the ninth. It was his second home run of the night as he finished 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
Drew Weeks cracked a homer in the Nuts' three-run eighth to help the Nuts erase a four-run deficit. Weeks went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI. Troy Stein got the Nuts on the board with a three-run homer in the second. Raimel Tapia went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a RBI.
Cody Geyer (W, 1-0) tossed a scoreless tenth for the Rawhide.
