FC Dallas News Release

FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, August 15, 2007) - FC Dallas today acquired a conditional 3rd Round selection in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft from Chivas USA in exchange for midfielder Ramon Nunez. Should Nunez start at least 15 MLS regular season games in 2008, Dallas will receive Chivas' natural 1st Round pick in the 2009 SuperDraft instead of their natural 3rd Round selection.

Nunez was originally selected by Dallas with the team's first pick in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft (6th overall). In his four seasons with the team, Nunez started 42 of the 67 regular season games in which he appeared, scoring 14 goals and adding nine assists. In 2007, Nunez started 10 of his 13 games, scored three goals, and contributed two assists.
