A couple of teams at the opposite ends of the playoff spectrum meet in Commerce City when the New England Revolution make their lone visit to the Colorado Rapids this season. The Rapids defeated Houston Dynamo last weekend, ending a 10-game winless streak and moving them to within five points of eighth-place in the MLS overall standings and the final available playoff spot. The Revolution defeated the LA Galaxy 1-0 over the weekend, extending their lead atop the Eastern Conference while moving into a tie for the lead in the race for the Supporters' Shield, given to the club with the best overall regular season record.
