6 Game Trip: The Tulsa Oilers start a six game road trip Christmas night
in Oklahoma City at 7:35. They then travel to Coloraod on Fridya and
play at Rocky Mountain on Saturday. Both of those games start at 8:05
p.m. All three games can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and accessed via the
internet at www.tulsaoilers.com 1 Up, 2 Down: The Oilers wrapped up a stretch of nine out of 10 games at
home last week. They dropped a road decision at Bossier-Shreveport,
giving up an empty net goal in a 3-1oss; returned home to defeat
Youngstown 3-1 and then dropped a 3-2 decision to Oklahoma City. Streaks: Several Oiler players are currently on notable point/scoring
streaks. Chief among them is Warren McCutcheon who has scored goals in
seven straight games. That is the longest goal scoring streak in the CHL
this season. Jeff Christina has registered assists in seven straight
games, which ties him for the longest current assist streak in the
league. Team captain David Alexandre Beauregard has registered points in
five straight games. Paul Kelly has had points in six of the last seven
games with four goals and five assists for nine points in that stretch. Longest Trip: this six game road trip will be the Oilers longest road
trip of the season. Following this week, they will have a New Years Eve
contest in Oklahoma City followed by a two game set at Youngstown. Home Again?: Not until Tuesday January 8^th against Oklahoma City at
7:05 p.m. It will be an Arby's Tuesday with ticket vouchers for a free
