W: Trey Stephens (4-6) L: Nick Vandegriff (3-6) S: None
HR: PEN â Rafael Alvarez (8)
A two-run Rafael Alvarez home run sparked a six-run fourth that paved the way for Pensacola's 11-5 win over the Jackson Senators. A quintet of pitchers handled the workload for Pensacola, with Trey Stephens earning the win in relief of Santos Hernandez. Wilson finished the evening 4-for-5 with four batted in.

EDINBURG 4, COASTAL BEND 2
@ Edinburg, Texas. Time: 2:50 ATT: 2,312
W: Eric Montoya (7-2) L: Lavelle Morgan (4-7) S: Steven Wilkerson (11)
HR: None
A double and two RBIs by Anthony Angel, coupled with an excellent outing by Eric Montoya allowed the Edinburg Roadrunners to push the Coastal Bend Aviators farther back in the race in the West. Entering tonight's contest two games back of Edinburg, the Aviators could not do much against Montoya, who allowed just one run on three hits over seven while whiffing six. Edinburg registered nine hits to win 4-2 and move a game and a half over second-place Amarillo and three games over third-place Coastal Bend. Steven Wilkerson pitched a scoreless ninth for his eleventh save of the year.

SAN ANGELO 6, AMARILLO 3
@ San Angelo, Tex. Time: 2:32 ATT: 1,516
W: Luis Salazar (5-4) L: Elliott Shaw (2-6) S: Quentin Jones (3)
HR: AMA â Jeremy Todd 2 (8)
San Angelo used a big third inning to overcome two home runs by Amarillo's Jeremy Todd and win 6-3. Dillas' starter Elliott Shaw allowed just two hits in the third but walked five to allow five runs in the inning. Conversely, San Angelo's Luis Salazar was brilliant, giving up just three earned runs in eight innings to earn his fifth win of the year. Todd hit a two-run homer in the second for the Dillas and added a solo shot in the sixth, but his teammates were unable to contribute as those were the only runs Amarillo would score. Quentin Jones pitched a scoreless ninth for his third save of the year.
