January 22, 2021 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
St. Cloud Norsemen News Release
Bismarck, ND - The St. Cloud Norsemen failed to muster enough goals as their comeback effort falls short in a 4-1 loss to the Bismarck Bobcats on Friday night.
After a back-and-forth opening 19 minutes, the Bobcats took the lead with just 41 seconds left in the first from a Jon Ziskie goal.
Early in the second, Ryan Taylor would add to the Bismarck lead before Tim Piechowski added to the tally for the 3-0 advantage. Late in the frame, Ryan O'Neill scored his second of the season to put St. Cloud on the board.
A late, third period, empty-netter was added to the Bobcats' tally by Grant Ahcan to solidify the 4-1 score line.
With the loss, the Norsemen drop to 3-10-0 and will take on the Bismarck Bobcats on Saturday, January 23 at 7:15PM at the VFW Center in Bismarck, ND. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 7:10PM on HockeyTV.
