Noble Named NLL Rookie of the Month
April 3, 2015 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The National Lacrosse League announced on Friday that Colorado Mammoth forward Jeremy Noble has been named the league's Rookie of the Month for March. Noble, who was acquired by the Mammoth from the Rochester Knighthawks just 21 days ago, has played three games in his NLL career. Those three games - all Mammoth wins - were enough for the University of Denver alumnus to earn the award.
"It doesn't mean too much," said Noble. "I'm just glad we had a good month and won three in a row. We have to continue to string wins together."
The play of the humble rookie has propelled Colorado to an unblemished mark since his debut on March 15. In that game, Noble had two goals, five assists and 10 loose balls. In the two games since, he's scored six times, dished out five more helpers and added seven loose balls.
Now he has his team a win away from the postseason. A Mammoth victory tonight at home or on Saturday in Calgary will put Colorado in the playoffs. Friday's face-off is at 7pm. Tickets are still available.
