No botox necessary, RiverKings webpage gets a facelift
September 8, 2004 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Mississippi RiverKings News Release
SOUTHAVEN, MS â The Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League acquired a new look on the information superhighway, as the team's homepage, www.riverkings.com, underwent significant design changes this week.
The new-look website, conceived by the RiverKings creative staff and implemented by InfinityProSports.com, is designed to maximize the ease of use of the site by RiverKings fans and other visitors.
In addition to new fan-friendly fonts, the navigation system of the website has been significantly altered, providing floating menus on two different sides of the page. This separation should allow more efficient page access and location of information.
The website is also re-introducing the Merchandise page, which will allow fans to purchase RiverKings apparel and other items directly from the site itself.
The new design also features an expanded Community Relations section, detailing the work of the team and its players and staff in the community at large. This section will contain individual pages for each of the team's special charity initiatives, including the popular âKings of the Classroom' and âParson's Pledge'.
And of course, www.riverkings.com is still the place to go for all the latest news regarding the 2004-05 team, including updates on player signings and roster moves, as well as game recaps and statistics.
The Memphis RiverKings will drop the puck on the 2004-05 season coming up in mid-October, with the team's first exhibition game taking place on October 16th at Topeka. The RiverKings will play one home exhibition game â Tuesday, October 19th at 7:05 PM vs. the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Ticket prices for this special event will be priced at $10 and $5. The âKings regular season will begin just 4 days later, as the squad hosts the Bossier-Shreveport at the DeSoto Civic Center, at 7:05 PM on Saturday, October 23rd.
Full and partial season tickets and group outings for the 2004-05 campaign are now available for purchase and renewal. Single game tickets will go on sale Saturday, October 9th at 10 AM. For more information, contact the RiverKings at (662) 342-1755.
