Corpus Christi, Texas: September 8, 2004 â The Corpus Christi Rayz have planned a press conference for Thursday, September 9th at Joe's Crab Shack restaurant on the waterfront in downtown Corpus Christi. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm. Joe's Crab Shack is located at 444 N. Shoreline. The Rayz will be announcing news relating to their 2004 preseason schedule and special guests will be in attendance.

The Rayz will begin the 2004-05 season in Austin on October 22nd, and host the Laredo Bucks in the first ever event at the AmericanBank Center on November 5th and 7:05pm.
