NLL National Lacrosse League

NLL All-Star Game Reserves announced

February 15, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release

The National Lacrosse League announced the reserves for the 2005 All-Star Game earlier today. The 2005 All-Star Game will be played at Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary on Saturday, February 26th and air live on NBC at 2pm Eastern.

The East and West Division All-Star teams each consist of eighteen players (sixteen runners and two goaltenders). The starting lineups for the East and West Division teams were announced earlier.

Online fan balloting comprised one-third of the selection of the starting lineups, with the league's general managers and media providing the other two-thirds. The league, in collaboration with East All-Stars head coach Paul Day (Rochester) and West All-Stars head coach Chris Hall (Calgary), selected the reserves.

Day and Hall earned the honors of coaching their respective All-Star teams by virtue of their teams position in first place following the games of Week #7 of the regular season (February 11th-13th).
