
National Lacrosse League Signs Activision Value to produce NLL video game

Activision Value Publishing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision, Inc., today announced that it has signed an agreement with the National Lacrosse League⢠(NLL), to develop and distribute video games based on the hard- hitting, action-packed game of the NLL, North America's professional indoor lacrosse league. The agreement grants Activision Value the worldwide, exclusive rights to publish games for the PC, console, handheld and wireless platforms.
In its 18th season of professional indoor lacrosse, the NLL consists of ten teams across the U.S. and Canada with average attendance of more than 10,000 fans per game over the 2004 and 2005 seasons. The 2005 season started on January 1st and continues until May 14th. NBC Sports will air the NLL 2005 All-Star Game live on Saturday, February 26th at 2pm Eastern, and the NLL Champion's Cup Final live on May 14th at 3:30pm Eastern.
