Nilson Reassigned To Bucks

LAREDO, Texas – The Bucks announced today that forward Patrik Nilson has been reassigned to Laredo from San Antonio in the American Hockey League. The Bucks are on the road this Thursday in Odessa and Friday in Austin. Saturday night Laredo returns home against the Colorado Eagles. Nilson, 22, was called up on November 22nd and played three games with the Rampage, his first appearances in the AHL. The 6-foot, 180-pound Nilson had zero points and no penalty minutes with San Antonio.

Nilson, brother of Florida Panthers' forward Marcus Nilson, is among the top scorers in the CHL (T-16th). Nilson was the CHL Player of the Month for October after leading Laredo to a perfect 5-0-0 start and collecting six goals and nine points during. The Balsta, Sweden native has 11 goals and 21 points in 15 games with the Bucks.

With his return Laredo will ice a full lineup of 16 skaters this Thursday, barring any injuries over the next two days. This will be the first game the Bucks have played with a full complement of 16 skaters and two goalies since November 7th.

In another roster move the Bucks placed defenseman Mark Matier on the 14-day Injured Reserve.
