The Central Hockey League, in conjunction with the New Mexico Scorpions and New Mexico Dodge Dealers, will give CHL fans a unique opportunity to participate in the CHL All-Star Game on January 22nd, 2004, in Albuquerque. Two fortunate prize recipients will win the Dodge "Be An All-Star Sweepstakes" and partake in numerous All-Star activities, including the All-Star Game itself.

Two winners (one from each CHL conference) will receive roundtrip airfare for two to Albuquerque, two nights at the Marriott alongside all CHL delegates, two tickets to the All-Star Game Banquet, two tickets to the All-Star Game, an official All-Star jersey with their name and number on the back, and will be introduced on the ice along with the CHL All-Stars prior to the game. Winners will also be able to sit with their conference representatives on the bench during a portion of the game.

"The Central Hockey League is very pleased to continue developing our tremendous relationship with Dodge," said CHL President Brad Treliving, "and we commend the New Mexico Scorpions on establishing a wonderfully unique program which will reward two very fortunate CHL fans with first-hand participation in the All-Star Game."

To complete an official entry form, and for a list of all contest rules and regulations, fans may visit either www.centralhockeyleague.com or www.scorpionshockey.com. The Dodge "Be An All-Star" sweepstakes will begin Wednesday, December 3rd, and entries will be accepted until Monday, January 5th. The CHL will select the two prize recipients on January 10th by random drawing.

"The Dodge ‘Be an All-Star' Sweepstakes is a tremendous vehicle for marketing the Dodge brand through a one of a kind sports promotion," commented Director of the Southwest Dodge Dealers Association Ken Zangara. "This is great visibility for us."

Pointstreak Performance of the Week Lubbock right winger Dave MacIntyre came up huge in the Cotton Kings' 2-1 shootout win over Amarillo on November 26th. With the Gorillas looking to tie CHL records for most consecutive wins (12) and most consecutive road wins (10), MacIntyre scored a shorthanded goal late in the second period, then scored the game winning goal in the shootout. The Cotton Kings victory also ended a six game winless stretch, and ended Amarillo's streak of 13 consecutive wins in shootouts.
