Niagara IceDogs Acquire Forward from Guelph Storm

General Manager Dave Brown announced today that the Niagara IceDogs have acquired forward Kyle Steckley from the Guelph Storm in exchange for a conditional 15th round pick in the 2009 OHL Draft.
The 6'0", 211 lb forward was originally chosen by the Guelph Storm in the 3rd Round (54th overall) of the 2006 OHL Priority Selection. Kyle has suited up for two regular season games this season with Guelph, and 16 games total over the past three season. Steckley spent last season with the Fort Erie Meteors of the Golden Horseshoe Jr B League, where he racked up an impressive 33 goals in 42 games.
