OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC hosts its third Energy Sidekicks event of the season on Wednesday, September 9 at Red Pin Bowling Alley from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at 200 S. Oklahoma Avenue in Bricktown.
The Energy FC Sidekicks program serves to establish a relationship between Energy FC soccer players and athletes from the Special Olympics and TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer). Each player on the Energy FC roster is paired with a Special Olympics or TOPSoccer athlete and meet on multiple occasions during the season to form a permanent bon
Following a dinner, the players and Sidekicks will engage in bowling throughout the evening at Red Pin.
Energy FC has clinched a playoff spot and currently sits atop the Western Conference of USL. The team plays its final regular season home match of the season this Saturday at historic Taft Stadium against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
