IRVINE, Calif. (September 8, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC defender Brenton Griffiths was named in the USL Team of the Week for Week 25, as announced by USL today. Griffiths marshalled the backline all game against LA Galaxy II on Saturday night, and powerfully headed in a corner in the 33rd minute to tie it up, with the Blues eventually winning, 2-1. Forward David Estrada was also instrumental in the victory, providing the assist for Christofer Ramirez's game winning goal in the 90th minute, and was recognized by making the squad for the USL Team of the Week.

The Blues next travel to the Pacific Northwest for a two-game road trip. OC faces Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Friday, September 11th, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT. They then travel up to play at Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 Sunday, September 13th, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m. PT.
