Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC News Release
Colorado Springs, Colo. (Tuesday, September 8, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC are looking to put another check in the win column Wednesday night.
The Switchbacks will be taking on fellow USL Western Conference club the Austin Aztex for the fourth time this season. The Switchbacks won the past match here at home, while the Aztex won the last two matches in Austin. Now, the Switchbacks plan to repeat that home win.
This past Saturday, the Switchbacks clinched a playoff berth. Now, the team is hoping for a first-place seed in the Western Conference.
"With three games remaining and a chance to win the Western Conference, we will take it one game at a time,"Â said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "Our focus is on the Aztex on Wednesday. We look to have the same focus that we did in Portland and get a result at home."
Be sure to come out and help the Switchbacks "School the Aztex" for this back to school night. The match is Wednesday, September 9th at 7 p.m. at Sand Creek Stadium.
