Akron RubberDucks News Release
One of the newest additions at Canal Park for the 2009 season will be The Aeros Club, Suite 207. Fans will have the chance to purchase tickets to The Aeros Club on a per game basis, and can enjoy a game from the best seats in the house. The Aeros Club provides seating indoors in a climate controlled environment, and also has press box level seating outdoors that overlooks the first base side of the ballpark ballpark.
"Previously, the only way to enjoy an Aeros game in a suite was to purchase a nightly package for 16 people," Aeros Vice President Kevin Brodzinski said. "We recognize that the nightly suite package, while still available and with reduced pricing for 2009, doesn't appeal to every fan. Some of our fans would like to take advantage of a more unique setting than the reserved seating bowl to celebrate special occasions in smaller groups of 2,3,& 4 people, and we believe The Aeros Club certainly fills that niche."
Seating is limited to only 20 people per game, and the suite includes a full service cash bar with hostess, a snack menu, cable TV, and nightly drink specials. The cost per ticket is $25.00, and full and partial season ticket holders can upgrade their regular game tickets to access The Aeros Club for $10.00 and $15.00, respectively.

Aeros Unveil Hit for the Cycle Promotion
Club Teams with Eddy's Bike Shop on Giveaway
A player hitting for the cycle is one of the rarest and most exciting events in the game of baseball - so rare in fact, that it's only happened three times in Aeros franchise history (dating back to 1989). Should an Akron player accomplish the feat at Canal Park in 2009 however, one lucky fan will ride out of the gates aboard a brand new Trek 3900 mountain bike courtesy of Eddy's Bike Shop as part of the Aeros Hit for the Cycle promotion.
"This is a really unique way to get fans involved, and also adds to the drama of a player's final at-bat if he's only missing one leg of the cycle," said Aeros Vice President Kevin Brodzinski. "Plus, the Trek 3900 is an excellent bike that the winner will get years of enjoyment out of with all the parks and trails throughout Northeast Ohio."
The bike will be on display on the main concourse at Canal Park during all 2009 home games, and fans will have to register with their name and email address each night in order to win. The bike will only be given away if an Aeros player hits for the cycle at home, although he can collect the legs of the cycle (single, double, triple and home run) in any order. Finally, the promotion will run throughout the season, so just because one bike is given away doesn't mean that the promotion is over.
Eddy's Bike Shop has been a fixture in Northeast Ohio since 1940, and currently features locations in Stow, Montrose, North Olmsted and Willoughby Hills. Fans can browse their full selection of bikes online at www.eddys.com.
The Aeros begin defense of their 2008 Southern Division pennant Wednesday, April 8th against the Bowie Baysox in a rematch of last season's first-round playoff series. For more information on the Hit for the Cycle promotion or all the other festivities planned at Canal Park in 2009, please visit the Aeros online at www.akronaeros.com or call the front office at (330) 253-5151.
