
New York Red Bulls Sign Defender Damien Perrinelle

HARRISON, NJ (July 28, 2014) - The New York Red Bulls announced the signing of defender Damien Perrinelle today. Perrinelle will join the club pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.
Perrinelle, who most recently played for FC Istres of Ligue 2 in France, has been on trial with the Red Bulls. The defender began his professional career in 2001 with Amiens SC, a member of the Championnat National, the third level of French Football.
"We're very pleased to add Damien to our roster following a successful trial period with the club." said Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh. "He's a versatile defender with good technical quality and he'll add depth to our squad."
Following his stint with Amiens SC, Perrinelle made the jump to Ligue 2 in France in 2004. The defender played for US Creteil in 2004, Clermont Foot in 2005, US Boulogne from 2006-2010 and then a second stint with Clermont Foot from 2010-2013.
