Bradford Jamieson IV Reflects on a Historic Week in Young Career

LA Galaxy News Release
CARSON, Calif. - The last week has been a thrilling one for 17-year-old LA Galaxy Homegrown Player Bradford Jamieson IV.
The Galaxy Academy product made his professional debut last Saturday in LA's 2-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City in a match that saw him notch his first career assist. A scant four days later, Jamieson took the field for the final 45 minutes of the Galaxy's 7-0 loss to Manchester United in front of 86,432 at the Rose Bowl.
Although the result was tough to swallow, Jamieson relished his opportunity to test himself against his childhood idol Nani and the rest of United's superstars.
"The result is behind me but the experience was forever," Jamieson told LAGalaxy.com. "I got a chance to play against players like Nani and although I was a little star struck at first, I told myself that 'I can't be 17. I need to act like a professional.' I had to go out there and act like these [United] guys were trying to take my paper."
Jamieson, who has become a regular inclusion in the Galaxy first team after tallying five goals for Los Dos, will have another chance to add to his growing resume when he takes part in the first ever Chipotle Homegrown Player Game at Portland's Providence Park next month as part of the festivities ahead of the AT&T MLS All-Star Game.
"It'll be a good experience and it's good for the young players to open themselves up to everyone in the MLS community," said Jamieson. "It'll be a great game for players to just strut their stuff."
