
New York Liberty Waive Paris Kea

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty today announced that the team has waived guard Paris Kea.
After missing the 2021 WNBA season due to injury, the Liberty signed Kea to a training camp contract on January 14, 2022. Paris last played in the WNBA in 2020 where she averaged 6.9 points, two rebounds, 1.5 assists and 15 minutes over 11 games with New York; five of which were starts.
After being selected No. 25 overall by the Indiana Fever from University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill in 2019, Kea appeared in 11 games during her rookie season where she shot 40.7% (11-27) from the field and 55.6% (5-9) from three.
The New York Liberty will tip off their 2022 season at Barclays Center on May 7 at 6 p.m. ET against the Connecticut Sun on ESPN.
