Aces Announce Theme Nights for 2022 Season

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Aces unveiled their list of theme nights for fans to enjoy during the 2022 WNBA Season today, as the team prepares for its first summer under franchise legend and new Head Coach Becky Hammon.

Kids Day-May 21 Bring on the weekend fun! The Las Vegas Aces are excited to announce the 12:00 pm PT game on ABC vs Phoenix is Kids Day. Let's make some noise as the event will include junior chatter head giveaways. Never heard of a junior chatter head? Imagine a handheld mini bobble head that makes a clickity-clackity sound featuring our very own mascot BUCKETS!

Additionally, in honor of the Phoenix Mercury's Brittney Griner, the Aces are holding BG's Heart and Sole Drive collecting new and gently used shoes benefiting The Shade Tree Organization that provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis. The Shade Tree offers life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.

Take Me Back Tuesday/Sneakerhead Night-May 31 Let's throw it back in time as the Las Vegas Aces take on the Connecticut Sun at 6:00 pm PT on ESPN2. Fans will receive a retro; Aces branded fanny pack. The game will feature thundersticks to help you keep the beat to the old school jams being played. The 90's trivia and in-game entertainment will truly take you back in time.

The excitement doesn't stop there. The Aces are calling all sneakerheads! Love shoe culture? Prove it! Show up to the game rocking your favorite kicks. Stay tuned for additional information, you won't want to miss this theme game.

Pride Night-June 5 Help us tip off Pride Month as we take on Dallas at 3:00 pm PT! Today and every day, the Las Vegas Aces champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. The organization believes there is strength in numbers, and together we can help create a tipping point for a more inclusive world. From our fans to players, we welcome and support all people.

Fans will receive rainbow bandanas to proudly wear during the game. The event will feature live in game performances and entertainment by the LGBTQ+ community. Special pride night content will be featured throughout the game as we celebrate individuals who uplift the LGBTQ+ community.

Title IX Night-June 25 The opportunities we have been given should never be taken for granted. The Aces want to ensure that Title IX lives on for generations to come. On the 50th anniversary of the signing into law of this landmark legislation, we celebrate and remember all the women and men that came before us and fought for our rights. Title IX night vs Washington will feature a limited-edition T-shirt giveaway!

The Aces are thrilled to partner with the Women in Sports and Entertainment chapter of Las Vegas (WISE) in hosting a pregame panel highlighting influential women in the Las Vegas and WNBA communities.

Heroes of the House-July 6 The Las Vegas Aces are hosting Heroes of the House on July 6 at 7:00 pm vs New York honoring heroes far and wide. A variety of heroes are being honored throughout the night, including men and women of the US military, first responders, and front-line workers. The first 4,000 fans in attendance receive an exclusive camouflage-print Aces T-shirt.

Breast Health Awareness-August 11 "PINK OUT THE HOUSE" with the Las Vegas Aces as the organization raises awareness for cancer and breast health awareness on August 11 at 7:00 pm as we take on Chicago. The Aces have partnered with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to fight cancer and provide support for those affected.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink and fill out "I Play For" signs to honor those past and present, fighting cancer. Special moments throughout the game will pay tribute to survivors as we all stand up to cancer. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a pink rally towel to show their support.

Fan Appreciation-August 14 Celebrate the best fans in the WNBA at the last regular season home game of the Aces 2022 season! On August 14th the Aces take on Seattle at 3:00 pm and all fans in attendance will feel the giveaway love! To celebrate and thank fans for their unwavering support and loyalty, there will be special prizes, giveaways, contests, and so much more!
