New York City Football Club to Face FC Cincinnati in U.S. Open Cup Round of 32

New York City Football Club will face FC Cincinnati in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in the Round of 32.

NYCFC enter the competition at this stage as a consequence of their 2022 MLS performance, and will now travel to TQL Stadium to take on The Orange and Blue.

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs, following Rochester New York's penalty shootout win over FC Motown in the Third Round.

Last season saw the team reach the quarter-finals of the Open Cup following victories against Rochester New York and New England Revolution. It was the second time the Club had reached that stage of the competition in their history.
