Inter Miami CF to Face Columbus Crew on the Road at Lower.com Field on Saturday

Inter Miami CF (2W-6L-0D, 6 points) will travel to Ohio to close out the week with MLS action on the road when it takes on Columbus Crew (4W-3L-2D, 14 points) on Saturday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Lower.com Field.

Inter Miami CF teamed up with Heineken to launch the 2023 Inter Miami CF Pub Partner Program presented by Heineken in order to provide the best experience for fans in South Florida during all the Club's away matches of the 2023 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.

Midweek U.S. Open Cup Action

The team closes out a busy week in Columbus after U.S.Open action on Wednesday. Inter Miami advanced to the Round of 32 after defeating Miami FC on penalties on the road in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday. The match saw striker Shanyder Borgelin tally his second goal since being promoted to the Club's First Team, while defender Ryan Sailor scored his first professional goal.

Round One of 2023 Against the Crew

Saturday's meeting against Columbus Crew will be the first of two between the sides in the 2023 MLS regular season. Overall, Inter Miami has faced the Columbus Crew four times in Club history, with the teams claiming two wins each.

Last time Inter Miami took on the Crew in MLS action was in September of 2022, with The Herons winning 2-1 at DRV PNK Stadium with two goals from former Inter Miami player Gonzalo Higuaín.

Scouting Columbus Crew

Columbus Crew enters the matchup after defeating Indy Eleven in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday and falling 1-0 on the road to Charlotte FC in the team's last MLS fixture. Overall in the 2023 regular season, the Crew has collected 14 points from four wins, three losses and two draws, with midfielder Lucas Zelarayán leading the Ohio-based side with four goals and two assists.
