New Orleans Pelicans Assign Malcolm Hill and E.J. Liddell to Birmingham Squadron

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that forwards Malcolm Hill and E.J. Liddell have been assigned to the Birmingham Squadron, the team's NBA G League affiliate.

Hill, 6-6, 220, has appeared in 24 career games across two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls, recording averages of 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per contest.

Hill has appeared in 27 games this season with Birimingham, averaging 21.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 35.4 minutes per contest.

Liddell, 6-6, 242, has appeared in eight games for the Pelicans this season, averaging 0.5 points and 0.6 rebounds in 2.9 minutes per contest.

Liddell, who was last assigned to Birmingham on January 15, holds averages of 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 12 games with the Squadron this season.

Both players will be available tonight for the Squadron's matchup with the College Park Skyhawks.
