
College Park Opens February with 125-115 Win Over the Birmingham Squadron

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (10-5) opened February with a 125-115 win over the Birmingham Squadron (7-8) at Gateway Center Arena.
College Park poured in a season-high tying 125 points behind a regular season-high 20 three pointers (20-44 3FGM), marking the eighth straight game with 100-or-more points, tied for a season-long scoring streak.
Seven Skyhawks netted 10-or-more points, marking the fourth game this regular season seven-or-more Skyhawks have poured in 10+ in a game: Seth Lundy (29), Kobe Bufkin (25), Tyson Etienne (18), Miles Norris (14), Rob Baker (13), Jarkel Joiner (10) and MiKyle McIntosh (10).
Seth Lundy posted his fourth career game with 25-or-more points, netting a regular season high 29 points behind five triples and 10 rebounds, in addition to three assists and one steal in 36 minutes. Lundy finished the first quarter with 13 points on a perfect 5-5 from the field and 3-3 from deep.
Kobe Bufkin finished with 25 points on 8-15 from the field (.533 FG%) and 3-5 from beyond the arc (.600 3FG%), adding six assists, four rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes. Over his last two games, Bufkin is averaging 34.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
Rob Baker chipped in his third double-double as a Skyhawk, collecting 13 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes, while Tyson Etienne swiped a career-high three steals and posted regular season highs of 18 points and seven assists.
After a back-and-forth start to the game, the Skyhawks never trailed from the 7:20 mark in the first quarter through the end of the game. Birmingham would cut the lead to as low as four towards the end of the third quarter, but a 12-0 run to open the fourth by College Park put the game in hand, as the lead never got below seven.
The Squadron were led by Dereon Seabron, who posted his second career triple-double on 16 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds in 40 minutes. Malcom Hill posted a game-high 33 points on 12-17 shooting (.705 FG%) and 5-8 from deep (.625 3FG%).
Sitting at 10-5, College Park is now tied for first in the Eastern Conference along with the Indiana Mad Ants (10-5), sitting a half-game above the Delaware Blue Coats (8-4).
