The Oklahoma City RedHawks lost 5-2 to the New Orleans Zephyrs Saturday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. The Zephyrs took a 3-0 lead during the top of the first inning, keyed by a Michael Ryan two-run home run, and lead the entire way.
Chris Coghlan singled with one out and scored on fielder's choice, while Gaby Sanchez singled and scored on Ryan's homer to build the New Orleans lead. Oklahoma City managed to get a run back in the bottom of the first when Brandon Boggs drove in Esteban German with a single.
The RedHawks cut the score to a one run deficit in the third. Zephyrs starter Daniel Barone walked Royce Huffman with two outs, and the Oklahoma City first baseman scored on a single by Ben Harrison. New Orleans extended the lead with insurance runs in the fourth and eighth innings to close the scoring.

The final game of the series is scheduled for Sunday at 4:05 pm. Neftali Feliz will pitch for Oklahoma City against Owasso native Dallas Trahern.
