New Mexico United vs. LA Galaxy II Hispanic Heritage Night Game RESCHEDULED for 10/12
October 7, 2022 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
New Mexico United News Release
Following the referee's decision to postpone the match between New Mexico United and LA Galaxy II on Wednesday night (10/5) due to field conditions as a result of rainy weather. The match now has a rescheduled date of Wednesday, October 12th. The match will be played at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, gates will open at 6pm, and the match will kickoff at 7PM. The original programming will continue as planned with United celebrating Hispanic Heritage Night.
All tickets for the originally scheduled date of 10/5 will be valid for the rescheduled date of 10/12. Ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled date, or those wishing to request a ticket credit instead of attending can complete the request form on the New Mexico United website found below. Tickets that are submitted through the credit request form will be released for resale. This ticket credit will be of equal value to the tickets purchased for the 10/5 game and is valid for any 2023 match. This credit will expire at the end of the 2023 season.
Additional tickets for the rescheduled game are on sale now at tickets.newmexicoutd.com. All merchandise on sale in-stadium will be discounted 20% off as a thank you to all fans returning for the rescheduled match.
The first six minutes of the match that were played on 10/5 will be ruled void, rescinding Justin Portillo's yellow card. The match will be restarted as both teams look to secure three important points in the final week of the regular season. This means United is set to end the season with three games in six days, playing at San Diego this Sunday, and back-to-back home games on Wednesday against LAII and Saturday against Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
