Alan Rutkowski Makes History in Professional Debut

Red Bulls Academy goalkeeper Alan Rutkowski became the youngest to start in net in club history for Red Bulls II on Saturday, October 1 at Phoenix Rising FC.

At 15 years and 341 days old, he also became the fifth-youngest player to appear in a match in club history. Two of the players younger than him, Nathan Worth and Davi Alexandre, also made their professional debuts this season.

New York has had three 15-year-old players appear in a match this season, which is the most for any USL Championship team and the most for a single season in club history.
