ALTOONA, PA - Even a move of 167 miles couldn't get the Aeros on the field Monday, as their game with the Altoona Curve was rained out. It marked the second straight rainout for Akron, following Sunday's rainout in Bowie. Monday's game will be made up on Akron's next visit to Altoona, as the teams will play a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games on Saturday, June 6th.
Akron continues its road trip Tuesday evening in Altoona, with a Cinco de Mayo-inspired 5:55 p.m. start time. Starting pitchers have not yet been announced.
