New Jersey SkyCats News Release
New Jersey Jaguars Owner/President Ron Eford announced that Adam Colaizzi has joined the franchise as Director of Game Operations. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years, including the last 10 for Bankmark in Northern New Jersey. In addition, Adam has been the program director for highly successful soccer and basketball programs based in Pequannock Township, NJ.
"I am very appreciative of this opportunity, and look forward to helping create a flagship franchise for the ABA," Colaizzi declared. "From our first communication, Ron and I have discovered a great deal of common ground regarding what it takes to build a successful franchise, as well as a solid fan base. Our goal is to make Jaguar games family events, with innovative ticket plans and interactive activities with our young fans helping achieve those goals."
"The Northern New Jersey market demands the highest level of accomplishment," Colaizzi continued. "The recent success of the Nets and Devils has established a benchmark of sports achievement that the Jaguars are eager to meet and exceed in the ABA. We look forward to a triumphant debut - both on and off the court - for the 2004-2005 season."
New Jersey Jaguars Owner/President Ron Eford stated "Adam brings enthusiasm, hard work, dedication, and experience to our organization. The Jaguars are lucky to have a quality person like him on our staff. He will aid in all the daily operations of the team and will work to make the home games a rewarding experience."
All Jaguar home games will be played at the newly built Bill Bradley Center on the campus of Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ. The team website - www.jerseyjaguars.homestead.com - contains more information on the team, including their upcoming free agent tryout camp, to be held at RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ on June 16 and 17.
